Tender Mercies: The Importance of Planning Ahead
Victorian Prime Minister William Gladstone once stated: “Show me the manner in which a nation cares for its dead and I will measure with mathematical exactness the tender mercies of its people, their respect for the law of the land and their loyalty to ideals.”
Every day we find ourselves planning ahead for something, whether it is something as simple as planning tonight’s dinner, what insurance to purchase, or next year’s vacation. With thoughtfulness and care we pre-plan to keep order in our lives and bring less stress for those we love.
With this in mind shouldn’t we also pre-plan our funeral arrangements: Please join us for a forum that will provide what everyone should know about planning a funeral or cremation service. Representatives from Ahlgrim and Sons, Countryside and Michael’s Funeral Homes will be here to answer your questions and provide informative pamphlets for us to share with those we love. Light refreshments will be served.
6:30 p.m.
This forum will take place in Assembly Hall located in Friendship Center at Bridgewater Place
